Telšiai’s Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park is looking for investors

80 kilometres from Telšiai’s Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park to the port of Klaipeda is not a long distance for foreign enterprises investing in the aforementioned park. Advantages: easily accessible by road, rail and the national Palanga-Siauliai highway, a well developed infrastructure, highly qualified professionals and cheaper labour.

As we all know, most foreign companies prefer locations which already have a detailed territory plan and projected infrastructure, and which are run by local authorities who have a positive attitude towards investors. In this regard, the Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park stands out as an attractive place for foreign investors because it has it all! The next few years will see the creation of a high-quality industrial and logistics park with so-called utility tunnels for water supply, sewerage, gas and electricity, as well as a rainwater collection system. Lighting and access points will also be installed. The emergence of investors in the Telšiai region should trigger the development of industry and business, attracting high-quality, direct foreign and local investment and create new jobs in the region.

The Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park consists of 6 lots:

The park is managed by Laivys, UAB. The company was established in 1992. Its activities include property development, construction, refurbishment, the construction and sale of industrial buildings, warehouses and residential housing. Investors will be offered competitive prices for land acquisition as well as property tax relief. A system of other important services and incentives is also expected. This will include the organisation of business accounting, staff recruitment, the selection of architects and contractors, etc. We focus primarily on the cooperation between new investors and the Telšiai district municipality, ensuring that progress is not held up by the preparation and coordination of construction documents.

The first investor has already acquired a plot of land within the Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park. This investor is LM HOLDING from Italy, which has set up a company called UNIFRUT, UAB, which will be the first to launch its operations within the Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park. UNIFRUT, UAB will be involved in the processing of agricultural products.

The Kalnėnai Logistics and Industrial Park is open to all investors! We look forward to investing in innovative technologies, as well as the development of high-quality and high-value products. The local economy would likely see rapid growth as a result.

The number of companies operating in the Telšiai region is over three thousand. The gross domestic product in the Telšiai region is about 4 billion litas, the largest percentage of which currently comes from the ORLEN LIETUVA refinery.
